The service
JurisCred provides a learning and credentialing platform. Institutions and publishers agree to an order and data-processing addendum that governs their use; these terms cover everyone who signs in.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in method secure and don't share accounts. Institutions are responsible for the roles they grant. You may add a personal email so your access outlives your institutional account.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access other organizations' data, circumvent exam integrity measures, upload unlawful or infringing content, or misrepresent a credential. JurisCred may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or the law.
Credentials
JurisCred is the issuer of record. Credentials state the partner institution and content publisher, carry an issue date and any expiry, and may be revoked by the issuing institution for cause, with the reason recorded. Verification pages are the authoritative status.
Content
Authors and publishers keep ownership of the content they upload and grant JurisCred the license needed to deliver it, including to adopting institutions when they list it in the Library.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is during the founding period. To the extent permitted by law, JurisCred's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding twelve months.
Changes
We'll post updates here and notify institutional contacts of material changes at least 30 days in advance.
